Site Restrictions/Information
- Link to a rough site layout The course and grid areas are on the large pad to the south of the grandstands. Paddock then fills the area around the grandstands. If you have a trailer that you can “ditch” for the weekend, please consider dropping it off in trailer jail to help everyone stay that much closer to the action.
- Camping is allowed on site.
- There will be 24 hour security. Gate will be closed at night, but there is a telephone number for 24 hour gate access in case re-entry is needed once the gate is closed. Exiting only requires driving over a pressure pad in the right lane.
- Alcohol is allowed & glass bottles/containers are allowed.
- NO Drones are allowed per the site policy.
- The raceway has restrictions on food sales, so there will not be food available on site. But there will be a Welcome Party on Friday. So, make sure you stop by to catch up with your friends from around the country!
- Need a quick bite close to the site? Head to Pops, a Chicago chain restaurant, for a proper Chicago Hotdog or an Italian Beef sandwich or Dunkin Donuts, both about a half mile from the site at the truck stop. Additional options including all major chain restaurants about ten to fifteen minutes away.
- Now, how about dinner? Consider Lou Malnati's on Rt 59 for some of the best Chicago Deep dish pizza around. Partial to a thinner crust? Look up Aurelio’s on West Jefferson. Just want some cold drinks and good food at the end of the day? Head on down to Heroes West Sports Grill.
- If you need to find electrical chargers or E85, check out this website: https://afdc.energy.gov/fuels/electricity_locations.html#/find/nearest?fuel=ELEC
- Lodging: Hotels off Houbolt Rd and Rock Creek Blvd are recommended
- Getting on-site early or planning a little bit of time to explore after the event? You can check out Autobahn Country Club for some outdoor go karting (open to the public daily) or head indoors at K1 Speed in Addison, which is about a half hour ride north of the site. Want to spend some time in Chicago proper? You’re only about 40 minutes away from downtown. Check out the Field Museum, Adler Planetarium, Soldier Field, Shedd Aquarium, and Navy Pier.
