A little late with this Runoffs Report because we’ve been packing trailers and are now “east bound and down” from Kansas.  Here is tonight’s news you should know! It’s almost RUNOFFS TIME!

HAGERTY - Secret’s Out!

The secret is out, Hagerty will have branded merch at the 2022 Runoffs. Supplies are limited, so visit the SCCA Gear event merchandise tent near the Pagoda early to pick up your exclusive Hagerty item.

As one of our primary sponsors, Hagerty will again be part of the Runoffs, to celebrate the winners, thank the volunteers and most importantly, enjoy this incredible event with all the enthusiasts and fans.

A portion of the tee-shirt funds will be given to the workers, that help this program stay afoot.

Video Driver’s Meeting – PLEASE WATCH!

Since finding time and space to hold a 500+ driver in-person driver’s meeting is… impossible, Race Director Ken Patterson and Assistant Race Director Steve Pence have created a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2xgnG8Zcqc) to highlight some of the critical differences at the Runoffs, as well as a written drivers letter (https://www.scca.com/downloads/64109-22-runoffs-driver-meeting-letter-final).

3^rd Annual Charity Golf Cart Parade

This will mark the 3rd annual charity golf cart parade on Wednesday, September 28 and lead into another favorite, the SCCA Block Party. This year, proceeds from the Golf Cart Parade will benefit Lemons of Love, an organization with deep motorsports ties that provides care packages to people affected by cancer.  The parade will step-off from grid at approximately 6:15 pm.  We will make a pass by victory circle where our expert cart announcers will make the parade call.  We will then make our way around the paddock ending up at a block party stop.  So, it’s time to start planning, get out those arts and crafts supplies and let those creative juices flow!  Your goal is to raise money for your cart.  Drivers, workers, crews, friends and family will “vote” with their dollars and the cart that raises the most money will be crowned the 2022 Golf Cart National Champion and win a major award!  Teams can register early online at www.scca.com/cartparade.  Once you arrive at the track, swing by the SCCA Staff Office on the 2^nd floor of the Pagoda to pick up your cart number.
