Is anyone using the online Weekend Membership form?
-
Did anyone use this for events this year? The Glen Region has been looking at it for our Solo events to ease the registration line a bit (hoped to use it earlier this year, but it didn't happen) - but we're not really sure how to reach the people that would use it.
I'm curious about how anyone else may be using it. Do you just try to push it out to your potential customers a day or two before the event? Do they complete the web form while in line at registration that day? I'm curious what works...
I feel like this is the kind of thing I'd like to see more info from the national office on. It was brought up at the convention this past year but it's not like there's a guide or anything for it (for the region side) or any tips or anything. I still don't even think the Region Login does anything - and if it doesn't, who do I need to talk to in order to get that to work? I thought I recalled mention of different weekend member fees between club race and solo and that kind of stuff - but how do you do that?
If anyone has any detail to share on this, I'd love to learn more!

Sorry, but I am not using the weekend member but I am using the full-time membership and it gives me the many facilities on this website. Well, I was looking for some math tutors but I don't find anyone and then someone suggests me to try https://au.edubirdie.com/math which is a writing website and here I can get the online math help for Australian students and their service is great to use.

FWIW, MotorsportReg.com has a feature to check SCCA membership at time of registration, require non-members to buy the weekend membership, and then send them electronically back to National with the click of a button. It sends a nice email certificate to the recipient telling them all of the benefits of membership and how they can get their $15 discount when ugprading to a full membership. This eliminates filling out the triplicate form and the errors that are prone in a paper-based, handwrittten process:

The online form above is awesome (and a major upgrade over the paper version) if you can't do it at the time of registration, but obviously not requiring your participants to fill out their information more than once is more convenient. If you have a "sweeper" who can walk the lines while people are waiting, they can ask who isn't a member and hand over a slip of paper with the URL or a QR code and tell people they can get it on their phone before they get to the registration table to save themselves some time. Requires a person though which are always in short supply.
