That’ll do it – the final Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo Series event of the season before everyone makes their way to Lincoln, NE, (again) for the Tire Rack ProSolo Finale has wrapped. And what an event it was! During the Aug. 7-9, 2026, weekend (and with a relaxed atmosphere), 120 autocrossers descended on Lincoln Airpark for one last go at the massive concrete slab before the ProSolo Finale comes to town.
The weather was typical for August in the Midwest – decent Friday, lightning delay on Saturday, and a scorching hot Sunday. Tony Mitera and Mark Walker led Nebraska Region in their typically great event hosting duties, and the fairly symmetrical courses that Ron Williams laid out were an excellent mix of elements to utilize the massive space.
Put another way: It was a great opportunity to dial in the car for Lincoln’s grippy surface before everything kicks back into gear in less than a month.
Classed Up
Was Nebraska built for Porsches? Maybe, because the Super Street class was on it in Lincoln. When the dust settled, Jason Bucki was the class winner, and his Porsche Cayman GT4 co-driver Jay Balducci was 0.509sec behind. It’s probably worth mentioning that Balducci was actually sixth – four other competitors fit into the tight space between the two. That includes Brian Franke, just 0.005sec behind the winner, along with Brandon Olvey, James Yom, and Brendan Cronin in fifth.
Some ProSolo heavy hitters were lumped together in the Race Tire 2 Index, and the results were everything you’d hope for. Patrick Washburn and his E Prepared Honda Civic was scored on top, followed just 0.198sec back by Erik Strelnieks’s D Prepared Mazda Miata. Rob Clark backed that up by 0.082sec in his D Street Prepared Mazda RX-8, while Craig Wilcox and his SMF-prepared Honda Civic was just 0.099sec behind that.
The Ladies class featured the same who’s who of class winners. Holly Frost topped Ladies Class 1, Tamra Krystinik was best in 2, Kim Whitener earned the top spot in Ladies Class 3, and Meredith Brown was best among those in Ladies Class 4.

Challenge Victors
Jeffery Tattershall didn’t get discouraged when his B Street Touring®-classed Nissan 370Z finished sixth in Street 3. Instead, he waited for the Bonus Challenge and crushed the field. Tattershall topped Jonathan Lugod, Evynne Fair, and Brian Taylor to win the Sunday afternoon bracket run.
The Ladies Challenge tightened up the point race for the Fletcher Cup entering the Finale. Meredith Brown eliminated Jennifer Bedell and Tamra Krystinik to advance to the finals against Holly Frost – and then took down Frost to maximize the points. That moved Brown all the way to third in the season-long standings, and Frost’s performance (along with a third place for Kim Whitener) moved Whitener to sixth and Frost to seventh and in contention at the Finale.
The Super Challenge didn’t mix up the standings as much as the Ladies Challenge did, but that didn’t take away from the joy of Mason Herrick’s first win of the season in his first Super Challenge bracket. Herrick, in his E Street Touring Mazda Miata, took out the Super Street duo of Jason Bucki and Brian Franke in the first two rounds, then topped fellow E Street Touring class competitor Riley Heaton to win the Super Challenge.
