The Sept. 19-21, 2025, Tire Rack SCCA® Time Trials Nationals jumped into full swing on Friday, and it would only be a slightly confusing metaphor to say that the gloves quickly came off. To parse that a little, some drivers put ON driving gloves, wheeled hard, and set new personal bests and reset track records, all in the name of #funwithcars.
During Friday’s one practice session and two timed looks at the circuit, drivers experienced nearly an hour of track time on Pittsburg International Race Complex’s (Pitt Race) 2.78-mile full course. However, that was merely a taste of what’s to come. Saturday put drivers back on course for another four timed sessions, and with it came challenges to track records and personal bests.
This also came in addition to the SUPERFLY party that rocked the event on Saturday night, with the 1990s and 2000s themed SUPERFLY car show (and more!) overlooking the event from spectator hill.
Toppling Top Times
