This is it! The final “Who Will Win the Tire Rack SCCA® Solo® National Championships?” article before the big rock-and-roll theme Sept. 1-5, 2025, Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships takes the stage.
If you’ve missed any of the other “Who Will Win?” articles and polls, you’ll want to click this link and then click buttons that are next to the drivers you want to choose in order to vote because, well, that’s how polls work.
This final set of polls is a veritable stairway to heaven, covering all of the Developmental and Exhibition classes, namely CAM, EVX, Club Spec, FSAE, and Xtreme. And these classes are getting a whole lotta love from the Solo community! CAM-S sports entries in the upper 40s while CAM-C and CAM-T are pushing 40 each. Club Spec Mustang entries were sitting in the mid-30s when we assembled these polls, with XA on the brink of breaking the 50-entry mark!
These drivers are not competing for a National Championship title, but you’d never know it based on the entry count and the incredible talent who has entered. Are these drivers dazed and confused? Hardly – these classes are just that fun to compete in!
Like with the other polls this week, we led with a list of who WE thought would win. Here you go:
- CAM-C: Dave Schotz
- CAM-CL: Samantha Whitworth
- CAM-S: Justin Peachey
- CAM-T: Mark Madarash
- CAM-TL: Ashley Griffin
- EVX: Jay Bullington
- CSM: Chip Manuel
- CSML: Carmen Rowlands
- CSX: Mike King
- CSXL: Brittany Edwards
- FSAE: Steven Tang
- FSAEL: Kaylee Citarella
- XA: John Vitamvas
- XAL: Laura Marcus
- XB: Andrew Canak
- XBL: Avery Bingham
- XU: Brian Garfield
Here we are – just days away from the Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships striking that first cord and you’re facing a list of hundreds of names so we can see who you think will win their class. If you find the polls have drivers missing from their listings, it’s nobody’s fault but mine (and my decision to assemble these polls a week or so before the event, which means last-minute class shuffling won’t be represented in these polls).
Also note that you can vote in these polls once a day – so come back tomorrow and vote again!
Rather than ramble on, we’ll jump to the interesting bit:
