SCCA Women on Track’s mission is to expand participation of women in all facets of SCCA programs and activities as participants, volunteers, leaders, or supporters. To that end, SCCA Women on Track offers a multitude of programs to encourage female involvement in motorsports, be it behind the wheel or volunteering in SCCA Road Racing, Autocross, RallyCross, RoadRally, Track Night in America, Time Trials, and more. Since its founding in 2018, the SCCA Women on Track initiative has helped encourage women to join the fun in a low-stress, welcoming environment through luncheons, social media, event scholarships, and more. But now, SCCA Women on Track needs your help.
Following years of growth and development, key members of SCCA's Women on Track initiative are seeking to step down from their leadership roles as Executive Committee Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson/Secretary – which is where you come in.
The two individuals will lead the overall initiative direction along with a representative from each SCCA Women on Track subcommittee, SCCA staff liaison, and SCCA Foundation liaison. Their primary roles will be to support the subcommittees and provide overall direction for the initiative.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about women in motorsports to give back to the community.
Applications are due by Nov. 13, with selections for the Executive Committee Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson/Secretary being made by Dec. 1.
