Trans Am Announces 2024 Schedules

The SCCA Pro Racing-sanctioned Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli has announced the schedules for its 2024 championship season. Like in years past, the 12-race national series will make stops across the country at tracks like Sebring International Raceway, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Circuit of the Americas, and more, including one weekend out of the country at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowman, Ontario. The Trans Am Series also announced its six-stop Western Championship schedule, featuring races all west of Austin, Texas.

“We are very pleased with our 2024 schedule and believe it will offer competitive racing from beginning to end,” said Trans Am President John Clagett. “We implemented a lot of feedback from our competitors about tracks and logistics, and we think that we have ultimately created a diverse and challenging schedule. We’re incredibly excited to return to Pitt Race and to once again have a presence in Canada with the addition of Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. We’re still looking to finalize one additional event for the TA2 class, which we hope to announce soon.”

“We really think competitors are going to like this move to doubleheader weekends in 2024,” said Clagett. “The series has been expanding rapidly, and we hope that by reducing travel costs but providing more events to compete in, this will allow the series to grow even further.”
