When the paddock pulled together to make sure Justin Kennedy didn't have to go home after a transmission failure, the spirit of this sport was on full display. Phil Jue, Adrian Willoughby, Lyle Zyra, Chris Reagen, Jack Nguyen, and others helped him get back in action — wrenching, yes, but also a drive to Indianapolis to pick up a new transmission. This earned the group the top award of the event: Spirit of Time Trials.

Women on Track awarded Lori Weber their Driver of the Event award. Lori and her husband are relatively new to track driving. They started at a Track Night in America event, sharing a car. They loved it so much they went out and bought a second so they could drive on track at the same time. And the rest is history.

David Marcus moved up to Max 2 from Tuner 2 this year and absolutely crushed the previous lap record for the class, going 4.183 seconds faster than Perry Ellwood last year. Marcus pulled a lap time of 2:09.629.

This honor deserves two mentions — Steve Luca set fastest overall time and a new production car record for NCM Motorsports Park in his 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 — a 2:02.759. That's 1.755 seconds faster than the previous set by Kyle Carrick in 2021.
