On episode 93 of the “Inside the SCCA” podcast, host Brian Bielanski does a deep dive (pun maybe intended) into the saga of the Hoosier Racing Tire SCCA Super Tour at Buttonwillow Raceway Park that took place during the Feb. 24-26, 2023, weekend. Mother Nature clashed with the racing gods and the racing gods won – but only thanks to the hard work on the part of the workers, plus the racers who were willing to roll with the punches. Hoosier Super Tour Clerk of the Course Kevin Coulter and Cal Club Region Race Chairman Mark Smith speak about the mega effort that went into reconfiguring the track to go racing after a section of the racing surface transformed into a lake.
