End 2022 Strong with a RoadRally

As 2022 nears its conclusion, you’ll find the season’s SCCA competition is similarly winding down. That, however, is not to say there aren’t several notable National or Divisional events you’ll want to attend. On the docket is one more Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials National Tour Powered by Hagerty, one more Tire Rack SCCA Solo Nationals Tour, and two extraordinarily fantastic RoadRally weekends – but for at least one of those RoadRallies, you’ll need to act fast!

For those unfamiliar with SCCA RoadRally events, they’re something you’ll kick yourself for not trying sooner. A good RoadRally is a mental exercise, a logic puzzle, and a mind trap combined into a day’s drive that maintains a healthy (but legal) pace on public roads.

USRRC: Registration Closes Today!

The next big RoadRally is this weekend! The United States RoadRally Challenge, known as the USRRC, takes place Nov. 4-6, 2022, in Whitmore Lake, MI.

“The USRRC is the highlight of the RoadRally competition season, but it is not just for highly experienced competitors,” Mike Bennett, Chairman of the RoadRally Board, explained to us not long ago. “Novices are encouraged to come out and join the fun! Everyone's vehicle will get dirty on the unpaved roads, but like all SCCA RoadRally events, you can compete in whatever you are driving on a daily basis. As always in SCCA RoadRally, no special vehicles, safety equipment, or competition licenses are required.”

The USRRC features three RoadRallies, the Nov. 4 Hell and Back II National Tour Rally, the Nov 5 Are You Territorial? National Course Rally, and the Nov 6 Pavement Ends Divisional Tour Rally.

Sno*Fall: A Month Away

The Dec. 10, 2022, Land O'Lakes Region Sno*Fall RoadRally is another RoadRally you can’t afford to miss. Sno*Fall is headquartered at The River Inn in Cloquet, MN, and if the past is any indication, this is a must-attend event.

Can the Sno*Fall RoadRally be challenging? Let’s just say that while the event organizers aren’t mandating a tow rope, it is listed as optional equipment in each vehicle.

But Wait, There’s More!

The RoadRallies listed above are but a taste of the year’s remaining events. Click here, enter the requested info, and discover exactly what’s happening near you, be it a National, Divisional, or Regional RoadRally.
