What happens when you bring together a bunch of cars, members of SCCA’s Badlands Region, and the 319th Reconnaissance Wing? You get one heck of a great autocross weekend at Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota! Over 200 base personnel and members of the local community came together to talk cars and enjoy their performance on course. From rookies who got valuable feedback from more-experienced drivers, to veteran autocrossers who enjoyed encouraging the next wave of drivers, the event was fun for all. Above all, it provided valuable recreation to the troops on the base outside of their normal routines, a wonderful way for the Club to give back.
