2020 Road Rally National Championship Schedule

The SCCA’s RoadRally Board, through its National Events Committee, today announced a 21-event National RoadRally Championship schedule for 2020. The schedule includes both National and Divisional rallies that will count toward titles in RoadRally’s trio of national championships, Course Rally, Touring Rally, and GTA.

In the coming weeks, as regions complete their 2020 schedules and submit their National and Divisional sanction applications, other events will be added to the schedule.

“We’re pleased that this preliminary list offers a variety of great events and locations we’ve already confirmed and calendared,” NEC co-chair Mike Thompson said.

Unlike other disciplines in the SCCA, contenders for national RoadRally titles accumulate points toward the title they’re chasing throughout a season of rallying, rather than at a season-ending, winner-takes-all shootout.

Returning to the 2020 national schedule after an absence of a year is the United States RoadRally Challenge, a multiple-day, multiple-discipline event hosted this year by the Detroit Region Nov. 13–15, with headquarters in Whitmore Lake, Mich. The USRRC was last part of the national schedule in 2018, when it was organized by the St. Louis Region.

For 2020, the RoadRally National Championship schedule, as of Jan. 3, includes the following:
