In Texas, SCCA’s Alamo Region Joins Lone Star Region

TOPEKA, Kan. (Nov. 7, 2019) -- In order to better support membership and create growth opportunities in the Austin/San Antonio area of Texas, the Sports Car Club of America® Board of Directors and Mike Cobb, SCCA® President/CEO, have approved the merging of Alamo Region territory with that of the Lone Star Region.

 

Both regions have experienced growth under the leadership of the Lone Star Region, and the Club is looking forward to continued efforts that bring SCCA members new opportunities in the combined regions, while strengthening current programs and opportunities.

 

Effective November 1, 2019, Alamo Region members were transferred to the Lone Star Region. The Sports Car Club of America now boasts 115 Regions contained within nine Divisions.
