TOPEKA, Kan. (May 14, 2019) -- Due to problems caused by flooding, the August 10-11 U.S. Majors Tour® Mid-States Conference event planned for Raceway Park of the Midlands (RPM) in Pacific Junction, Iowa, has been cancelled. In its place, a July 13-14 race weekend at Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka, Kansas, has been added to the U.S. Majors Tour Mid-States Conference schedule.

Hosted by Kaw Valley Race Group (KVRG), the July date at Heartland Motorsports Park was originally scheduled as a regional and time trials event. Those elements will still be included in the event schedule even though it is now part of the U.S. Majors Tour.

The SCCA® U.S. Majors Tour serves as one pathway to the 2019 SCCA National Championship Runoffs® being held Oct. 8-13 at VIRginia International Raceway in Alton, Virginia. A rundown of the current, updated U.S. Majors Tour schedule can be viewed at https://www.scca.com/pages/2019-majors-schedule
