Brianne Maier holds the C Prepared Ladies lead over her co-driver Tracy Lewis. Both drivers turned their fast runs on the second of three laps, but Maier’s time edged that of Lewis by 0.480-second. Maier is also the only driver to have cracked the 55-second mark.

Jim Reyenga had a very up-and-down day in C Street. After rolling off the starting line for his opening run, Reyenga set a blistering time that seemed untouchable. Ultimately it ended up being the top time in the class, but Reyenga was unable to match his time in subsequent runs. In fact, his last run ended in a DNF. Will a fast first run be enough with a National Championship is on the line? That question will have to wait until tomorrow for an answer.
