Paul Russell has made a habit of being at the top of the Kart Modified standings, and has six consecutive National Championships to back that claim up. Russell is half way to making that streak of titles seven as he leads the field of 20 other drivers by 0.554-second.

In G Street, Mark Scroggs is making the case for walking away with two national titles in as many visits to Lincoln. A rookie winner last year, Scroggs leads the field by 0.110-second over John Azevedo.
