Clemens Burger is working toward a successful title defense since his only back-to-back championship streak in 2009 and 2010. Burger ended day one of his fight to stay on top of the B-Mod world in first, but will have to work in order to retain his National Championship. Matthew Ellam sits 0.190-second behind Burger as the group will transfer to take on the quicker East Course, on Friday.

In D Street Ladies, Kristen Acharya is making the bid for a National Championship in her first trip to the season-ending event. Steven Duckworth is also putting himself on the map as he leads the F Street Prepared class in only his second year at this annual meet.
