Solo Nationals Ready to go Live

LINCOLN, Neb. (Sept. 8, 2015) – The 2015 Tire Rack SCCA Solo Nationals Presented by Garmin VIRB is primed and ready to go. On-course action for this four-day event is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. (CDT) as competitors will take to the both east and west courses.

Heavy overnight thunderstorms have left their mark on the Lincoln Airpark competition site, resulting in extremely wet conditions on the Concrete Beach – the theme for this year’s event. The skill of the drivers in the opening heat will be put to the test as standing water will increase the level of difficulty on the Alex Jones- and Roger Johnson- designed courses.

Each driver will have three opportunities to throw down their best time today. The best lap from today and tomorrow’s racing will determine who leaves Lincoln with top honors in each National Championship-eligible class.

Additional information on the SCCA National Championships, including a full schedule and an entry list, can be found here. Be sure to stay up to date with live timing here. Live video and audio is also available for both courses. Racing on the West Course can be seen here, while action on the east can be seen here.
