In 1982 Bill Johnson, a former Board of Governors Director, introduced a new professional competition series aimed at autocrossers: ProSolo. Over time SCCA has taken over operations and rules have changed, but the premise remains. ProSolo is the two parts autocross and one part drag racing, a combination that leads to increased excitement and entertainment value for competitors and spectators alike.
The 2015 ProSolo Finale takes place this weekend, Sept. 5-6, at Lincoln Airpark in Lincoln, Nebraska, home of the Tire Rack Solo National Championships the following week. Click here for more information on this year’s event. Click here for live timing and results.
