For the first time, SCCA Club Racing is headed to Kansas Speedway. This weekend, the fifth and sixth rounds of the Mid-States Conference Majors Tour face off at the midwestern speedway.

The Formula Vee field will be one to watch this weekend. With one of the highest entries in the event, drivers are coming from all corners of the conference to face off. From Houston, Texas to Denver, Colorado, these drivers have one thing on their mind: winning.

Not to go against tradition, the Spec Miatas are coming out in full force with the largest entry of the weekend. A close race can always be expected from these spec cars. The Mid-States points leader, Luke Bickham is not expected to be present, but second place Matthew Reynolds is and has the opportunity to take over the points lead. Keep an eye on 15-year-old Max Nufer. In only four weekends since his transition from carts, Nufer has been a strong contender. He’s one to watch as the season continues.

With the “Roval” configuration of Kansas Speedway, many drivers will experience speeds like never before, and are sure to get an idea of what to expect this fall at the SCCA National Championship Runoffs Presented by Garmin VIRB in Daytona, Florida.

Live Timing & Scoring and lap notes will be available for all sessions at http://www.scca.com/sccalive. Additional race information is available at http://www.scca.com/kansasspeedwaymajors.
