(Oct. 6, 2010) €“ Sports Car Club of America has posted timecards from each Runoffs session, including speed trap data when available, from the Sept. 20-26 SCCA National Championship Runoffs event Presented by Subway.The data is available for each class in Microsoft Excel (.xls) format in the Results section on the Runoffs home page (http://www.scca.com/runoffs).The timecards include the driver€™s lap time, the time of day in which he or she completed the lap, the split from the Start/Finish timing loop to the first speed trap loop, approximately 750 feet before the Apex of Turn Five, the split from the first speed trap loop to the second speed trap loop (0.02284-mile later) entering Turn Five and the split from the second speed trap loop in Turn Five back to Start/Finish.A time card is available for each session on separate Worksheet tabs within the Excel file.The Club Racing Board has provided the formulas to provide average speed for both the lap and the Turn Five speed trap.The speed trap loop was not functional the entire week, and if data is missing, it is because it was not available.Any questions or comments should be directed to the Club Racing Board through its website (www.crbscca.com). -30-
