On behalf of the BFGoodrich Tires Super Tour, the SCCA is offering cash prizes for the top three point scorers in six individual categories of National class racing. Points for the Super Tour prizes are based on the SCCA SafeRacer National Series point structure, including bonus points. There is no limit to the number of the six BFGoodrich Tires Super Tour events each driver earned points in throughout the season. The top two point-scoring drivers in each of the six categories will be rewarded with $500, with the third-ranking driver awarded $200. In addition, a prize from BFGoodrich Tires to the top finisher in each category will be announced shortly. The sixth and final BFGoodrich Tires SCCA Super Tour event takes place at High Plains Raceway near Byers, Colo., July 3. The six categories are: Small Formula classes (Formula Enterprises, Formula F, Formula Mazda, Formula 500 and Formula Vee); Small Bore (E, F, and H Production, GT-Lite, and Super Touring Under); Big Bore (GT-1, GT-2, and GT3, American Sedan, and Super Touring Over); Spec (Spec Racer Ford, Spec Miata), Touring/SS (Touring 1, 2 and 3, Showroom Stock B and C), and Big Formula and Sports Racing.(Formula Atlantic, Formula 1000, Formula Continental, C and D Sports Racing and Sports 2000).
