SCCA Volunteers Rewarded With BFGoodrich Tires Worker of the Year Awards

MONTEREY, Calif. (October 9, 2014) – Ten different Sports Car Club of America volunteers were honored on Thursday night at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca with the BFGoodrich Tires Worker of the Year award reception during at the All Participant Party presented by Racer’s Insurance Services at the 51st SCCA National Championship Runoffs.

With the band OTR playing to open the night courtesy of Hooked on Driving, Club members gathered for dinner and a welcome from SCCA President/CEO Lisa Noble.

The grand prize of the evening went to Sydney Davis, who will receive a trip to the 2015 Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring courtesy of BFGoodrich Tires. Jan Coleman-Mitchell, one of the 10 recipients, had her name pulled from a hat of the finalists for a lifetime SCCA membership.

Each of the 27 Tire Rack Pole Position winners for the weekend’s races were called to the front and presented with a $500 gift certificate to TireRack.com.
