TOPEKA, Kan. (Jan. 13, 2010) With the arrival of the new year, WC Vision and SCCA Pro Racing have revealed a new look for the popular World Challenge series. A vibrant new WC logo has been created to visually represent the series.
World Challenge has undergone some exciting new changes in the offseason including the announcement of our new TV package with VERSUS, WC Vision Vice President of Marketing and Communications Dave Drimmie said. The new logo reflects the continuing evolution of the series and our commitment to making World Challenge the premiere production-based sports car series in North America.
When referring to the series, the full title, World Challenge Championships, is only necessary on first reference, further references may use the shorter World Challenge. Individual classes will be referred to as World Challenge GT, World Challenge GTS and World Challenge Touring Car.
The series Web site, www.world-challenge.com has already been updated with the new logo (see attached).
