TOPEKA, Kan. (July 31, 2014) – All six classes of the Pirelli World Challenge will be in action this weekend at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. You can catch every minute of action by logging onto www.world-challengetv.com to view each race via live streaming.

In GT, Cadillac pilot Johnny O’Connell sits atop the standings in the Drivers’ Championship. Mike Skeen, driving an Audo R8 Ultra this season, sits second in season-long points, 108 markers behind O’Connell. With three rounds remaining in the GT and GTS calendar, Skeen will need to close the gap quickly to keep any hopes of a Championship alive.

Henrik Hedman holds down the lead in GT-A, heading to Mid-Ohio. Hedman has earned his way to the top spot by notching five podium finishes this season. Dan Knox sits 26 markers behind Hedman in the drivers’ standings, but holds a one-point lead over third place Michael Mills.

GTS has an impressive 28 cars on the entry list, equaling the number of entries for Barber earlier this season. Mark Wilkins, at the controls of his Kia Optima, is the top dog in class heading into this weekend’s racing. With a 141-point lead over Dean Martin, his next closest challenger in the standings, Wilkins will be pushing for a smooth race weekend to hold his lead.

In Touring Car, Michael DiMeo has a commanding lead in the Drivers’ Championship. DiMeo has won all but the last two races, leaving the rest of the field to fight for second place. Karl Tompson, DiMeo’s Compass360 teammate and car owner, sits second in the Drivers’ Standings, 457 points behind DiMeo.

Jason Wolfe holds a slim nine point lead over Shea Holbrook in the Touring Car A class. Wolf is seeking his fourth win, while Holbrook will try to log her fifth win of the season.

Brian Prince sits in the catbird seat in Touring Car B-Spec as he leads the drivers’ standings with 820 points. Nathan Stacy will work to bounce back from seventh- and sixth-place finishes at Road America. With a pair of strong runs, Stacy can put himself back in the Championship conversation.

Both races for all classes will be covered via live internet broadcast, which can be seen by going to www.world-challengetv.com. Starting Aug. 1, at 5:05 p.m. (EDT), will be the first round of TC/TCA/TCB action. GT/GT-A/GTS race one will be aired Aug. 2, at 11:45 a.m. (EDT), with the broadcast for TC/TCA/TCB race to run later in the day, at 4:15 p.m. (EDT). The event will be capped off by coverage of the second GT/GT-A/GTS race Aug. 3, at 1:15 p.m. (EDT).
