What Happens In Vegas – Is Coming To You

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (March 1, 2012) - What happens in Vegas… can be seen at home, at least when it comes to the SCCA. Registration is open and attendees have begun to arrive for the 2012 SCCA National Convention at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The convention officially begins with SCCA’s annual meeting at 3:00 p.m. PST (6:00 on the east coast), followed by the Convention Kickoff presentation and a welcome reception for all attendees.

Friday and Saturday’s activities include specialized seminars and informative sessions, awards luncheons to present some of SCCA’s most prestigious honors, and Town Halls with the SCCA Board of Directors, Club Racing Board, Road Rally Board, RallyCross Board, and Solo Events Board.

The convention concludes on Saturday night with the Hall of Fame Banquet, when SCCA legends Charlie Earwood, Jim Hall, Gene Henderson, Dr. Peter Talbot, and Bryan Webb will join an exclusive fraternity within the Sports Car Club of America.

For the first time, members who could not attend the Convention but wish to be a part of the annual meeting can watch on-line from the link on the right of this page, after logging into their account.

The Hall of Fame Banquet will be broadcast live on Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. PST, with the link available here on Saturday. This broadcast will be open to anyone around the world who wishes to watch.
