National Solo Events Check-in/Tech Changes
Beginning with Spring Nationals (Lincoln ProSolo/National Tour) and for the remainder of the non-championship events this season, we will be completing check-in/tech for National Solo Events in the following manner:
What to bring to check-in/tech:
- Competitors will NOT bring their vehicles with them to check-in/tech
- Competitors will bring a helmet for each driver
- Competitors will bring a completed and signed tech form for each driver
- Drivers will not share a tech form
What will you receive at check-in/tech:
- Tech Decal, completed by the Tech worker
- It is the responsibility of the competitor to ensure the decal is placed in the upper left corner of the windshield (unless an alternate location is approved)
- Helmet tech decal (purple Solo decal), if needed.
- Helmet barcode, if needed.
- Any other required event decals, if needed.
- Any available contingency decals, if needed.
At the end of the check-in/tech process:
- You should have received any required decals (including your event tech decal).
- You should have turned in a completed and signed tech form for each driver.
- You should be checked-in for the event.
Please pay special attention to your class letters and/or class numbers.
- Ensure that class numbers and/or letters are in compliance with Solo Rule 3.7.
- Are your letters and numbers the right size, are they highly contrasting to your car’s paint color?
- Pro tip: take a photo of your car in grey scale; are your numbers clear and easy to see? If not, they do not contrast enough and/or the border is not wide enough to easily see the contrast.
