RoadRally Kicks Off Women's History Month with Women on Track and Cheryl Babbe
Since 1980 the United States has publicly recognized the contributions of women, first by Women's History Week and then with Women's History Month. Established annually by Presidential Proclamation, Women’s History Month is decreed as a month that highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society.
Throughout March, the SCCA Women on Track Initiative, supported by the SCCA Foundation, will be celebrating the women of SCCA with a daily Facebook post introducing an individual SCCA member.
SCCA RoadRally kicks off the month, introducing Cheryl Babbe, stalwart rallyist, founder of the Arctic Alaska Region, and 2010 winner of the Robert V Ridges Memorial Award.
Every day in March take a few moments to check out the SCCA Women on Track Facebook page and learn more about your fellow SCCA members and their contributions! Rumor has it that there are more RoadRally participants to come - so don't miss out!
