Preparations are underway for a safe and successful 2020 Tire Rack SCCA Solo Nationals in Lincoln, Nebraska.

First, the good news: staff and volunteers have put an enormous amount of work in already to protect the viability and integrity of the National Championship event, while also measuring the safety of attendees. This includes a permit application and guidelines that were submitted to the City of Lincoln and have been approved at this time.

In the interest of transparency, however, it is important to note that this remains a fluid situation. The information available to the SCCA National Staff, Board of Directors, competitors and state and local officials continues to evolve and those evolutions impact the procedures and welfare of Solo Nationals.

As has been asked, the ProSolo Finale is linked to the Solo Nationals decisions. If Solo Nationals happens, so too will the ProSolo Finale. For the ProSolo Finale, the staff is currently looking into adjustments to the entry process that may allow those effected by event cancellations a way to enter the Finale.

The rules and parameters included in the proposal approved by the City of Lincoln have been posted to SCCA.com. This outlines the safety procedures and requirements for anyone planning to participate in the 2020 Solo Nationals.

The National Staff has compiled a survey to collect data and assist in the decision-making process. If you participate in SCCA Solo events at a national level, please complete the survey after reviewing the rules and parameters above.
