Looking Forward: An Update on the Future of SCCA eSports
It’s been less than two weeks since the Sports Car Club of America awarded its first Hoosier Racing Tire eSports Super Tour Championships with Max King winning a road racing drivers school experience courtesy of Competition One Racing and John Allen earning a free entry to the 2020 Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials Nationals Powered by Hagerty, in addition to a set of brakes from Hawk Performance and a full set of shocks from KONI.
As the Club looks forward, the eSports Super Tour will take a brief hiatus, giving way to SCCA Championship events scheduled from August through October at motorsports venues across the country. In the meantime, the eSports crew will continue to host weekly #funwithcars races on Tuesday nights, starting at 8:15pm eastern. These sessions are open to all iRacing members, no SCCA membership or licenses required. Join the SCCA eSports Discord Channel to stay in the know about upcoming events.
In mid to late-October, the Hoosier Racing Tire eSports Super Tour will return for its third season, bringing the same excitement drivers and fans have come to expect from the weekly series. More information on those events will be released later in the year.
