When you walk most courses, pause to reflect on a particular section, you may often find yourself accidentally staring off at something like a hanger or the back of a set of grandstands. However, at Packwood, you will find yourself staring at snowcapped Mount Rainer, in July. You should allow for several extra minutes per course walk until you acclimate.
