During our monthly look at who is celebrating milestone anniversaries with the Sports Car Club of America™, we often highlight several members – but this month, let’s do things a bit differently. Instead, let’s talk numbers.

In the month of March, 165 SCCA® members are celebrating 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, and 60 years with the SCCA, 22% of whom hit the 25-year mark this month. Furthermore, 16% of this month’s anniversary members are celebrating 30 years with the SCCA. Not too shabby!

Yet what’s even more amazing is that more than 15% of the members listed below have been having #funwithcars with the SCCA for 50-plus years!

What were you doing 50 years ago? Based on SCCA’s statistics for average age of a Club member, you weren’t even born! Yet back in the 1970s (and earlier!), these members were beginning a journey that had them living their best lives as well as building the groundwork for a Club that is still going strong today.

Don’t think your membership to the Club makes a difference? Whether you’re a died-in-the-wool Region leader or you’re simply a weekend warrior who invites a friend to an event every once in a while, you’re continuing the tradition of building a better and stronger SCCA that began in 1944.
