With that done, here’s why you just did what you did – and we’ll begin with the potential to win free stuff.
SCCA has this thing called the SCCA Prize Closet, and with it, the Club hands out gifts and assorted whatnot from SCCA partners as a “thank you” for members being awesome. In this case, 10 people who register for the 2026 SCCA National Convention in the first week that registration is open (i.e., by Dec. 7) will be selected in a random draw to receive a gift certificate from Hawk Performance. Other big news (which we alluded to in the opening sentence) is that SCCA Foundation will be the presenting sponsor of the 2026 SCCA National Convention. A 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, SCCA Foundation’s mission is to support the Sports Car Club of America™ by providing inclusive opportunities for motorsports competition, safety, education, and historical preservation – a vision that is undergoing a new beginning in the coming year.
Sessions will be held during the SCCA National Convention telling members how they can, in turn, assist the Foundation in achieving these goals – but for now, head to the SCCA Foundation’s website to discover more about the not-for-profit charitable organization.
Speaking of National Convention sessions, the event schedule will be debuted on Dec. 16, roughly one month prior to the grand kick-off of the Convention.

Register for Divisional Conventions Too!
There’s one more thing to know, and that’s the fact that you can now also register for SCCA’s six Divisional Conventions. With dates running from Jan. 30 through March 29, Divisional Conventions are largely in person gatherings and offer face-to-face time with Region leaders in that Division, as well as several SCCA National Office staff members who will be attending the Divisional Conventions.
