Dennehy-Rodriguez Hired as SCCA Partner Relationship Manager

Long-time autocrosser and Time Trials participant Dan Dennehy-Rodriguez has accepted the newly created role of Partner Relationship Manager for the Sports Car Club of America, continuing an evolution of the Club’s marketing department organization and direction that began in 2020.

In the position, Dennehy-Rodriguez is responsible for maintaining close relationships with existing partners and building new relationships with prospects — from contingency programs to cross-program partnerships.

Dennehy-Rodriguez is familiar with the Club’s programs, getting his motorsports start in autocross 15 years ago, and developing into a Track Day and Time Trials participant over the past several years. He has also served as an event lead for Track Night in America at Pittsburgh International Race Complex.

“To work for the SCCA is a dream job I did not know to dream of,” Dennehy-Rodriguez said. “I am excited to begin the good work of helping our strategic partners work toward even better outcomes—for them and for our members.”

Most recently, Dennehy-Rodriguez held business development and sales roles within the healthcare industry. Previously, he held roles in market research, marketing and finance. He and his wife Laura are also involved in urban redevelopment through their church, Garden City, in Pittsburgh.

“To find someone with Dan’s experience and passion for the Club was almost too much to ask,” said Kristen Poole, SCCA’s Director of Marketing and Communications. “He brings an established skill set and fresh ideas that can really push the marketing department and the Club forward in a noticeable way.”

Dennehy-Rodriguez will report to Poole in the organizational structure.
