One Formula Racing to F3 Americas Powered by Honda

A new year brings new opportunities, and none more than for drivers looking to compete in the F3 Americas Championship Powered by Honda program. With an expanding grid for the 2019 season, One Formula Racing is planning on entering its name in the mix with the goal to enter two drivers in the FIA certified series.

"We are diligently working to finalize our complete program and that includes two drivers for the 2019 season," explained Steve Stadel, Team Manager for One Formula Racing. "We have put together a strong core for our team, and we come to the F3 Americas program with success in other open wheel disciplines. We are looking forward to solidifying two talented drivers and welcome the challenge that the upcoming season will bring us."

The Illinois-based outfit has a long list of racing accomplishments. As the reigning SCCA Runoffs FE2 Champion with Flinn Lazier, One Formula Racing was also the 2016 FE Vice Champion with female standout Hanna Zellers. In 2014, Ethan Ringel closed the Atlantic Championship Series season with four podiums including one victory in the final four events of the year.

Along with the race team side of the program, One Formula Racing will continue to offer prep shop services including but not limited to frame up rebuilds, chassis alignment, tire services, custom seat building, suspension jigging and crash damage repair. On the arrive and drive side of their efforts, One Formula Racing offers car preparation and transport, trackside support, data acquisition, car maintenance and storage. Above and beyond all of these services, One Formula Racing has been an SCCA Formula Enterprises Customer Service Representative since 2006.

Stadel continued, "Our goal is to enter the first event ready to win. We have the experience and knowledge to take drivers to the front of the field and the program to back it up."

Joining Team Manager Steve Stadel is Jay Shuler who will act as Engineer and Chief Mechanic, and Data Acquisition Engineer Tony Grau. All team media and marketing programs will be handled by RTD Media and Management.
